With interests in many creative activities, and training as an engineer, I find photography to be a tool with the perfect blend of artistic expression and technical application, all used to create something of beauty and value.  While spending over fifteen years as a stay-at-home mom, I also developed a love for volunteer work in my community. It is quite rewarding to experience the immediate way volunteering benefits those in need, as well as the way it widens my perspective of people from all walks of life.

I did not want to lose my ability to make positive impacts on my community as I returned "back to work." This led me to the idea of starting a photography business that also provided its service at no cost to those who normally wouldn't have access to it. Thus, Joy Photography began, with it's core mission to do good, share love, and bring joy.

Of all the things I love about photography, my favorite is witnessing the joy a photo can bring to people.  With every photo I take, I am aiming to bring that joy to others and myself. Thank you for your interest in this venture. I hope to work with you soon!
